Tanzanite is found exclusively in the Merelani Hills of northern Tanzania, making it one of the world's few true single-origin gemstones. While each crystal forms under similar geological conditions, no two stones display exactly the same balance of blue and violet. Carefully matching smaller tanzanites for colour, tone and brilliance is a meticulous process, resulting in a harmonious composition where each gemstone contributes its own subtle character.

These tanzanites were personally sourced during my travels to Tanzania and selected for their consistency, lively colour and beautiful sparkle. Arranged in a continuous halo, they create an elegant circle of shifting blue and violet tones that come to life as they catch the light.
